A safe and celebratory weekly ritual for open-hearted people to move their bodies, shake off stress, and come together in solidarity.

Research shows dancing and singing together are ancient tools for health, healing, and strengthening cultural bonds that have been at the root of social movements for millennia. At NOPE, we come together to ease our bodies and minds and regroup for the week ahead.

We also donate 10% of ticket sales to local charities—because justice is peace.

1. NOPE is a free-zone for movement, music, and self-expression. Our intent is to take the pressure off and soothe the nervous system with each visit. At NOPE, there is no instructor to follow, no reps of painful exercises—just you, your choice of music, and a gathering of likeminded friends.
   

2. Many people don't feel comfortable in fitness centers. Our weekly events happen in bars, clubs, and music venues with lights turned down low.
   

3. Food and drinks are offered at many of our partner locations, but NOPE is simply a dedicated hour to dance. Some folks come early or stay late for a drink or snack, but that's entirely up to you.

1. Silent disco gives you options! Everyone isn't moved by the same kinds of music. Don't like a song? Check out the other channels.
   

2. The LED headphone colors tend to draw people together from across the room—who may not know each other but are grooving on the same wavelength. It's an entry point for new friends.
   

3. Prefer solo time after a long day of work or family? The headphones let you carve out personal space while still being part of a collective experience.

Sarah Hays Coomer started NOPE because, over her more than 20 years of health coaching, when she asked clients what they would love to do for fitness, the nearly universal answer was DANCE—just dance and go home. No pressure, no judgement, no suffocating fitness vibes, no need to carve out a whole night for partying—just a way to get together and cut loose.
